Dr. Deacon Farrell, MD

Pain Medicine and Regenerative Medicine


Dr. Deacon Farrell is a board certified Anesthesiologist / Interventional Spine Specialist who specializes in interventional pain medicine and regenerative medicine. He learned medicine at the National University of Ireland before receiving a masters in molecular medicine at Imperial College London. He was invited to enter into anesthesiology residency at New York Langone Brooklyn/ University Hospital Brooklyn under the FAER scholarship program provided by the American Society Of Anesthesiology. He later went on to do fellowships in both pain medicine and regenerative medicine at Cedar Sinai Medical Center Beverly Hills California. Dr. Farrell is affiliated with Southern California Hospital and Glendale Memorial Hospitals and provides anesthesiology and pain medicine services at these institutions.

Dr. Farrell has been actively involved in extensive medical research regarding human genetic engineering using retroviridae to manipulate DNA in particular brain tumors which led him into anesthesia and subsequently pain medicine. He has been co-author in reviewing the guidelines for brain trauma management, and led investigations techniques of anesthetics agents on neural tissues of the brain to improve cognitive function after anesthesia. He is currently involved in age management research involving peptides, hormones, stem cells and interventional spine techniques in his practice.

Dr. Farrell's approach towards aging focuses on improvement of daily function, improving mobility, tissue preservation, with combined aesthetic care for holistic wellbeing.
