Will Flores has been a practicing Physician Assistant for over a decade serving a range of diverse patients including the minority and underserved populations of south central LA. He has been a volunteer disaster healthcare worker since 2014, most recently spending considerable time taking care of the homeless in COVID quarantine areas on his weekends during the pandemic. Graduating cum laude from Charles Drew University he has excelled in family, internal and emergency medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado with a double major in molecular biology and psychology.
“HIV medicine has been the highlight of my career. I admire the spirit and courage of my patients. Over the past 11 years it has been truly something to watch the evolution of HIV care as it is now today. I can’t wait to see the end of AIDs in our lifetime.”
In his free time, Will enjoys swimming, spending time on his sailboat, longboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, skiing, bicycling (done AIDSLifecycle in 2011 and 2015), playing guitar, and watching South Park.
