Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG)
QEEG is a neurodiagnostic procedure that measures and analyzes the electrical activity of the brain (brain waves) using electrodes placed on the scalp.
QEEG is used to:
1) Evaluate brain function in various conditions, including:
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Anxiety and depression
Epilepsy
Traumatic brain injury
2) Assess the effectiveness of treatments for these conditions
3) Identify patterns of brain activity that may be associated with specific symptoms or behaviors
Benefits:
Provides objective data about brain function
Can help to identify and diagnose brain disorders
Can monitor treatment effectiveness
May provide insights into cognitive and behavioral patterns
