Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG)

QEEG is a neurodiagnostic procedure that measures and analyzes the electrical activity of the brain (brain waves) using electrodes placed on the scalp

QEEG is used to:

1) Evaluate brain function in various conditions, including:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Epilepsy

  • Traumatic brain injury

2) Assess the effectiveness of treatments for these conditions

3) Identify patterns of brain activity that may be associated with specific symptoms or behaviors

Benefits:

  • Provides objective data about brain function

  • Can help to identify and diagnose brain disorders

  • Can monitor treatment effectiveness

  • May provide insights into cognitive and behavioral patterns
